English titles are working titles. Each song gets a singable English adaptation and a literal line-by-line translation for subtitles, never a flat gloss: Austrian idioms are kept or explained.
How the album is made
- Lyrics in Austrian German. Each song sounds like its singer: STAMM's dialect, ECHT's polite archive Viennese with slang from the wrong decades, BOGEN's precise old-fashioned German, SCHLAG's slow stories.
- The song-to-story map. Each song belongs to a character, a story beat and a short. The map decides what each music video has to tell.
- English. A singable adaptation and a literal subtitle track per song.
- Artwork. The cover and 15 single covers are BOGEN's posters: hand-painted ink lines and gold leaf, titles set in code, never generated. Square and 9:16.
The sound
Grunge and nu-metal weight (STAMM) over 1970s rock drums and 1980s drum machines (SCHLAG), a double bass played hard with a bow (BOGEN), and a warm baritone that breaks upward when it is moved (ECHT). Loud enough to rattle the U6.
